Personal Testimony: I grew up in a home where both parents were Christians.  Through their words and actions and by our regular church attendance I learned about the Bible, God and His Son Christ Jesus.  At the age of three I realized that I could not get to heaven without accepting Christ's gift of salvation through faith.  On that day I believed and became a child of God.

Throughout Middle School and High School I struggled to be accepted by my peers through my dress, language, conversation etc.  But I continued to attend church consistently as well as High School Youth Group.  I was living, in all reality, a double life.  Inwardly I was a believer but outwardly it was a thin facad.  However, the first year of college God really began to work on me.  During that year at Colorado Mountain College I submitted my will to the Lord.  Shortly thereafter I applied and was accepted to Frontier School of the Bible in LaGrange, WY where I studied for the next three years and grew in the knowledge of God.  There I became aware that I was being called by God to France as a missionary and from that point on started working towards that end.

I graduated and moved back home to Breckenridge, CO where I have been for the last two years.  While here God has taught me to apply everything that I learned at Frontier and as a result I have grown in my relationship with God.  My greatest lesson has likely been that of patience.  Upon graduation I searched for a mission agency to join in order to go to France.  However I neither felt completely sure about any of them nor did a single one go through.  Finally through Proverbs 3:5-6, my life verse, I stopped trying to force the issue and left the agency and time up to God.  It says, "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not upon your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight."  Nevertheless it was very hard, but God in His love reminded me that, "He give strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power.  Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary."

It's been an arduous journey.  At the same however it has borne much fruit culminating in God leading me towards WorldVenure and my endorsement as a mid-term to France with them.  All I can say is "PRAISE GOD!!!"  He alone deserves glory for the work He has done in me.  I am who I am because of the love, faithfulness, grace and mercy of God.
